Wedding Gift Photo Frames
Watercolour-style wedding portraits, designed as 12 × 18 gift frames.
The brief
Friends of two couples wanted a personal wedding gift: a framed portrait that felt more like art than a photo print.
Approach
Each couple's photo was cut out and set into an illustrated, watercolour-style scene: one with a sketched garden and splashes of blue, the other with a gold ring, leaves and warm washes that pick up the colours of the bride's saree. A small dedication from the gift-givers sits in the corner.
