Retirement Frame Designs
Farewell frames for two long-serving public servants, made to be presented at their retirement.
The brief
Colleagues wanted to honour two people on retirement with a framed keepsake: an engineer with TG Transco, celebrated with his wife, and a government school headmaster whose tribute tells the story of his career in Telugu.
Approach
For the first, the couple's photo was turned into a painterly portrait with bold brush strokes, with a short congratulatory message in English. The second is a portrait of the headmaster in an office setting above a full tribute in Telugu, laid out like a page of a book. Both were prepared at large print sizes (20 × 30 and 24 × 36 inches).
• Outcome
Two large-format keepsake frames, each written and designed for the person it honours.
