Overview:
Patterned Glass Posters is a self-driven visual design series that explores the interaction between transparency, reflection, and pattern inspired by the subtle elegance of decorative glass. This project is an artistic study in layering, light, and material texture, combining visual softness with structured design to create a minimalist yet sophisticated look.
The Challenge:
The core challenge of this project was to emulate the feel of textured glass in a 2D visual space where reflections, refractions, and soft focus interplay with bold patterns and typography. The intent was to strike a delicate balance between ornamental beauty and functional graphic design making it feel contemporary, calming, and tactile.
The Process:
I began with moodboarding natural glass patterns and modern interior elements, then translated those into abstract poster compositions. Each poster integrates semi-transparent overlays, softened color tones, layered patterns, and diffused light effects. The typography is clean, modern, and spatially aware often appearing behind the "glass" layers to create depth. Carefully curated color palettes with muted tones enhanced the sense of modern sophistication and visual comfort.
