Overview:
Newfangled Mind Gaming, a dynamic and energetic gaming brand, needed a logo intro that could captivate their audience from the first frame. The goal was to design an attention-grabbing, high-energy intro that combined both gaming and streaming styles, reflecting their identity as a forward-thinking, innovative gaming hub. This intro had to seamlessly integrate gaming elements with a sleek design to set the tone for every stream and highlight their brand’s uniqueness.
The Challenge:
The challenge was to create a logo intro that would engage viewers instantly while representing Newfangled Mind Gaming's bold and dynamic brand image. The intro needed to showcase iconic gaming elements such as WASD keys, a gunshot effect, and headphones in a visually stunning and fluid manner. It was important to keep the intro high-paced, cinematic, and impactful without feeling cluttered or rushed. Additionally, I had to ensure that the final product smoothly transitioned into the Newfangled Mind Gaming logo while maintaining the gaming and streaming aesthetic throughout.
The Process:
I started by conceptualizing how to integrate gaming elements (WASD keys, gunshot, headphones) into the intro in a way that felt both thematic and visually cohesive. The WASD keys were animated with rapid, sharp movements to evoke the quick reflexes of a gamer. This cut to a dramatic gunshot transition, symbolizing the intense, high-stakes moments in gaming. I incorporated motion effects to enhance the sound of the shot, adding energy and impact. From there, the headphones materialized, drawing the viewer's attention toward the brand’s immersive experience. The sequence then smoothly transitioned into the final display of the Newfangled Mind Gaming logo, highlighting the brand's identity with a polished, professional touch.
