Overview:
Talentio Solutions India Private Limited needed a series of eye-catching, professional course thumbnails for their Emotional Intelligence (EI) course, aimed at promoting the program across various digital platforms. The goal was to create visually appealing thumbnails that effectively communicate the core concepts of Emotional Intelligence self-awareness, empathy, social skills, and emotional regulation while staying true to Talentio's established branding. The thumbnails needed to appeal to potential students seeking to develop EI skills for both personal growth and professional success.
The Challenge:
he challenge was to visually represent the abstract concept of Emotional Intelligence in a way that was both engaging and informative. Emotional Intelligence involves internal self-regulation and external social interactions, so the design had to encapsulate both individual growth and the importance of emotional awareness in relationships. Additionally, the design had to be versatile and impactful at smaller sizes across digital platforms, from social media feeds to online course directories.
The Process:
I began by researching visual metaphors and icons associated with Emotional Intelligence, such as hearts, brains, communication symbols, and abstract representations of human connection and understanding. I wanted to incorporate these symbols in a way that was visually harmonious and clear, yet simple enough to be recognizable at smaller sizes.
Using Talentio's brand colors and typography, I created thumbnails that highlighted the key themes of EI: self-awareness, empathy, and social connection. Each thumbnail design featured a mix of clean typography, professional icons, and subtle gradients to provide depth. To create a balanced look, I used soft, approachable colors, such as blues and greens, which convey calmness and emotional stability. I ensured each thumbnail was adaptable for multiple platforms, ensuring that the visuals worked seamlessly across desktop and mobile views.
