Client Testiominal:

This animation hits like a cinematic punch. It’s raw, it’s intense, and it gives our serious content the exact edge we wanted. From the film-like textures to the glitch details and stomp-driven rhythm, it feels like an actual visual trailer to our brand. It’s not just a logo reveal it’s a mood-setter, a vibe, and a visual identity we didn’t know we needed until we saw it.

Overview:

Brotomedia, a creative powerhouse known for bold content and cinematic storytelling sought a high-impact logo animation specifically crafted for their documentary and cinematic video formats. The goal was to develop a rustic, analog-style animation that was fast-paced, glitch-infused, and cinematic all while staying rooted in the brand’s energetic, edgy personality. It had to feel raw, serious, and visually magnetic, while still staying true to their “built by bros” DNA.

The Challenge:

The biggest creative challenge was blending two contrasting tones, gritty professionalism and chaotic charisma. The animation had to feel handmade and analog-inspired, using glitch effects, film textures, and photo frame elements, while also being tightly polished for screen impact. It had to convey seriousness, yet move with a rhythm that matched hip-hop and stomp-style beats.

The Process:

I began by defining a unique motion language that merged grunge aesthetics with rapid, rhythm-driven motion. Using a neutral color palette, glitch overlays, film grain, and photo-frame inspired transitions, I crafted a story that mimicked an old reel kicking into action. The pacing was driven by a cinematic hip-hop beat, layered with stomp effects to create tension and visual rhythm. Every texture, flicker, and transition was placed with intent — building anticipation until the final logo hits with gritty precision.
